Dreamers Achieve Success: Why reading is injurious to your brain!!!

Why reading is injurious to your brain!!!

Howdy Dreamers,

Hope you all are doing great! Thanks for supporting this dreamer’s blog for the past 1 year; we are marching towards the 1 lakh page views.

Dream, Dream, Dream
Dream transforms into thoughts
And thoughts result in action.

This blog mantra is to inspire, ignite, motivate and transform the dreamer’s passion to achieve success in life.

I dedicate this post to my dad who introduced me books at an early age and to my college friend Raja Mohammed who introduced me to Sidney Sheldon Novels.

To my wife who buys me a lot of books at the book fairs to keep me happy and to my fellow crazy bookworms who can never keep the book down once started.

You can’t buy happiness,
but you can buy books and
that’s kind of the same thing.

This topic takes me down to the memory lane to Bombay where I had crazy Readathon challenges with my roommates Prabhu and Martin which we enjoyed to the core.

I am going to talk about the most addictive and contagious habit which will prevent your brain from diseases that comes with aging.

The recent study about reading books every day has come up with the following positive impacts it has on your brain and on your mindset.

Reading a good humor or romance novel can reduce your stress levels, as it distracts and helps your mind to take off from your problem.

It helps you take correct decisions at the time of crisis, as in our work critical thinking plays a vital role in high productivity.

Empathy

Reading gives you the ability to empathize with other people emotions and thoughts.

It makes you understand their problems and provide them solutions. It can also help to maintain a healthy relationship.

It can help you in the better understanding of your spouse if you’re lucky, it may prevent heartburn and head injuries if you empathize on their feelings.

It really important to cultivate the habit of reading in kids at an early age so their cognitive and critical thinking develops as they grow.
